SAMPLES SAMPLE ONE: You travel to Mesopotamia in search of the Garden of Eden. You hope to find even ONE Apple from the Tree of Knowledge. (Hint: See the Apple Goddess). See Map. This clue was part of Scavenger 2000. My friend's mother played the Apple Goddess. On the Map, her house was marked "Garden of Eden." When the Teams arrived, they had to bob for apples. At least one (1) Player had to get an apple in his/her teeth to get the List item. When a Player finally got an apple, the Apple Goddess marked the apple with a special sticker to let me (the Judge) know the Teams had really gotten the apple from her (and not at some store). SAMPLE TWO: You travel to Egypt in search of an ancient Egyptian neck lace. (Hint: You must speak with the Queen). See Map. This was a clue from Scavenger 2000. The Queen was played by my mother. On the Map, her house was marked "Egypt." When the Teams got to the Queen's house, they had to build a body pyramid (three on hands and knees, two on top of them, and one on the very top) to get their next clue. The Teams had to hold their pyramid position long enough for the Queen to give the very top person the next clue. It said: "The ancient Egyptian necklace is candy!" SAMPLE THREE: A medical student, you must perform "practice" surgery at the Hospital under Dr. Funny Bones to complete your training. Bring back your Medical Degree. See Map. This clue was part of Scavenger 1998. My friend played Dr. Funny Bones. On the Map, his house was marked "Hospital." When Teams arrived at his house, they had to gather around his kitchen table where the game Operation® was placed. Each Player was asked to "surgically" remove a body part without buzzing the alarm. When each Player got their piece, Dr. Funny Bones gave the Teams a phony Medical Degree. |
